How very odd!

Have you got the 'view' button?
Make sure the window is fully maximized (top right hand corner of the screen) Right click toop of the window and see if you get options along the lines of "customize" or "tool bar". What version of Microsoft is it?

no i dont have the view button either its just the blank page itself so i cant print or use word art or anything like that. yes ive tried maximising it and it stays the same its microsoft xp. thanks

On your keyboard hold down "Alt" and press "V". If this doesn't work try doing a system restore if the application worked before. Click on start>All programs>Accessories>System tools>System restore. Follow the wizard and take your pc to an earlier state. If this doesn't work then just down load microsoft word.

Do you have Word or are you using 'Word viewer'?
