Motorola Program

I recently installed a program that was shipped on a CD along with my new motorola phone (the PEBL).

I installed it and the updates no problem, but when i come to open it a new window pops up saying its setting up the application (im guessing as i havent used it yet)...and then freezes with the loading bar part full.

Windows task manager doesnt find it to be 'not responding' as with many programs that freeze. but ive left it for ages and the bar doesnt seem to move and the program doesnt start.

Anyone else that the same problem? or anyone that can help?

I suspect that it's looking for your phone. Have you connected the phone to the computer?

i have tried that. but the manual told me not to connect my phone until it asks me. also i have tried it on another computer and this window that pops up doesnt even come up on this other computer and works fine.
