A friend of mine bought a Dell Dimension Computer recently. Her son put in a password but forgot it. She cant get into her computer now unless she calls out someoneone from Dell...expensive any help

Where does it ask for the password? As soon as you boot or at the windows login screen? If it is the latter which version of Windows are you running? If it is the former what is the exact model number of the computer?

Its windows xp and its on the windows start up. Theres her sons name and two others. When she clicks on her sons name it asks for a password. He cant remember it.


Its a Dell Dimension 400
