Since upgrading to Windows 10 the power saving features on my PC have stopped working, I've gone into settings and selected Sleep mode, Screen turn off after, Turn off display and Put the computer to sleep and set them all for 1Min. I've also set screen saver to blank screen after 1 min but none of it is working.

Help appreciated please.

PCs use very little power so, unless you're using batteries (as with a laptop), there's little point bothering with the power saving options anyway. (My PC is fully on 24 hours per day, 365 days of the year. I simply turn off the monitor if I'm not actively using the computer).

However the 'Fix it' option here might help:

Thanks Buenchico, I've got an 'all in one' PC so can't turn off the monitor, I'll try the fix later and report back. Just off to the dentist ugh!
Mine helps warm the room so it gets left on :-)

Tried the ‘fix it’ link suggested by Buenchico, a message appeared to say the problem was fixed, but unfortunately it isn’t. I still have no power saving options, or screen saver, working.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated, thank you for trying to help.
Extend standby time and reduce battery consumption/use
by displaying a simpler layout and allowing limited access to a mobile, a laptop etc
