m viewing pdf files online. Im flicking through each one of them whilst i look for a particular document. The end of the URL is "35476_2015.pdf". Im having to change this number "35476" until I find the right document. I knows its somewhere in the last 400.

Manually seems easiest to me.

I guess you might be able to use a spreadsheet to create a column of addresses all incrementing by one, and use them to open documents: but even if it worked I'm unsure it's any easier.

Hypognosis

You could highlight and select copy for the part of the filename which you are tired of retyping then paste it back (PC shortcut keys: Control and V pressed together) after incrementing the last digit manually.

With practice (you are getting plenty with this task) it will become second nature.
