We have the mind numbing Children in Need or the boring footie match.

I am not lucky enough to have Sky, so I guess I will be spending the evening on here, annoying everybody with my inane answers!!!

Will you be here later on??????

nothing boring about Northern Ireland v Latvia :-)

Won't be watching either of those, that's for sure.
Michael Portillo's railway-journey programme and The Returned are two of my must-see. Must record one as both on at 9!
Not dire for me, I've Got Corrie and Gogglebox !
thank god I'm going out;
I shall watch the DVD "Fury" which I received as a birthday present recently.
I shall be on here, whilst Mr T watches the football.
Gingejbee...The Returned is on at 10:00pm so that will save you recording!
I'm off down the pub, one without a telly, if Mrs.B. allows me out.
Lewis, recorded
Sharon I always record good programmes for an evening such as this.. Tonight it is definitely First Date which I missed last night. And I stock up on film Dvds at car boots and ebay, so I never run out of things to watch..

High five Tilly!
Get Netflix. It's free for one month and very easy to cancel.
Go to the lower channels on the box, there are things like Escape to the Country on - BBC2 isn't that bad though.....

Ummm, I have considered it and Son number 2 is also talking me into it.

I am not really a tv person, I prefer to interact.
Mastermind, Island Parish (in the Falklands), Great Continental Railway Journeys is the Beeb 2 line-up, not a bad mix, Sharon.....
Yup! The alternative is, as you say, dire, but I have a story to finish and all sorts of odds and ends to do (like compiling this quiz I mentioned yesterday) so I'll be keeping busy. Children in Need is quite handy really - I wouldn't give to it, saw what they did with some of the donations.
There is no law that states one has to watch television!
Read a book, get the scrabbleboard out, knit some socks!
