How To Delete A Printer From Pc

I have two printers showing on my PC,one is an old one which I no longer have.It is a nuisance because sometimes on coming to print the old sort of gets in the way.How do I delete from my PC?

I suspect you have to go into control panel, printers, then select the defunct one, right click and delete, or uninstall or something like that.

Go to 'Devices & Printers' (either directly from your start menu or via your Control Panel), right-click on the icon for the unwanted printer and select 'Remove device'.

I tried something like that...but could not find a way to get rid.
