my friend as a notebook acer aspire HLZ-ZA3(B) and she cannot get it to boot. I have tried F8, no good, and starting in 'safe mode' I get a blue screen with
c0000218(registry file failure)
(file)\Systemroot\system32\config\SYSTEM or its log or alternate. It is corrupt, absent, or not writeable.
How can I fix this folks please, any help greatly appreciated.
