I got up this morning at 5 following a bout of coughing. I put a bit of food out for the birds and went back to bed. When I got up again about 8 there was a layer of snow on the ground. And I thought the worst of the winter was past.

oh I woke up to snow covered cars, then sunny ( lovely ) then dark clouds, then sleet. sunny again. then heavy snow , very windy. calm again then snow ........................... so a ' bit changeable ' at the moment :)
