I wonder if someone could help with this little task.

I have a OSX server running apache2. I want to monitor the apache access log files for a specific IP address, and once this IP address accesses the server, the server sends an email. I am pretty sure it should be a straightforward process, but I am no programmer, and wouldn't know where to start.

Any help would be gratefully received...
