Default Browsers

Is it advisable to have one default browser? If I did, would this mess up any other browsers. Each time I go online I am asked to make ******* my default browser. Can I go on without having any? Any advice would be welcome.

You can have as many different browsers installed as you want but only one can be the default browser (and there must be a default browser).

There is normally a "dont ask me again" button you can press.

You need one default browser and you can only have one (that's kinda the definition of default)

When the do you want to set XXXXX as a default browser warning comes up there's normally a tick box saying something like perform this check each time, just take the tick out of it.
