Windows will only start up in safe mode.

I have got a Samsung R510, Windows Vista and it will only boot up in Safe Mode or safe mode with networking, or if I press F8 at the start. I know I'm on line and my rooter's o.k because I've got a desk top thats o.k.
It seems to have been since a AVG security panel came on the screen and said
your computer needs to close down and restart, and it did it automatically,
but it did'nt re-boot itself, when I switched it on it would not boot up.
I restored it to yesterday when it was ok, which was o.k. until I switched it off and it would'nt boot up again. A icon as appeared saying AVGrep in a white box. Can anyone help please.....

If the restore to yesterday works then try that again and then if it boots OK try uninstalling AVG while it's working and then restart again.

If it works OK just reinstall AVG (or go for MSE instead, which is better these days)
