Blackberry/Hotmail query.

I have a Blackberry, and on it I get my texts and also my emails from a hotmail account that I have. Yesterday i logged onto my laptop to try and find a specific email in my hotmail inbox, and whilst there I decide to delete a load of old emails, which I did in stages over the afternoon.

Later on I looked at my Blackberry and saw I had 50/60 emails unread. Opened them and they are the ones I deleted on my laptop, which are now on my BB as being unread. Over the evening they all appeared, in batches.

Any idea how this could have happened, as I still have loads more to delete.
