music too fast

Have tried slowing speed on Spotify on the enhancement section, but music sounds as though the singer is on helium. Tried preferences on Window media, does not work either. WINDOWS xp laptop. What to do please?

Not a proper fix but if you use QuickTime player you can reduce the speed to half normal.

Sounds like you've added an audio effect in the control panel for your sound card.

music on my lap topvb- wordXP

On Spotify and other programmes, the music is far too fast. Can anyone help please. I have tried unticking the "hardware acceleration" box on Preferences. This doesn't help. Thanks....
