I want to connect my laptop to my 7" Google Android Tablet to tranfer photos, videos and music to my tablet from my laptop, will a USB 2.0 A Male to A Male Cable be suitable, I have a USB adapter for plugging into the Tablet so I can fit a USB Cable from the Tablet but I am not sure which cable to get.

If you connect it using a USB-A to USB-A you are probably going severely damage either the computer or the tablet.

If you mentioned what tablet it is we can give constructive advice, which would be far better than you trying to guess how to do it which sounds like it would result in bad things happening.

I have a 7" Google Android Epad tablet and the laptop is a Lenova G550 I would like to transfer things from the laptop to the epad.
If both have wi fi you could connect and transfer that way.
How are you going to transfer files from a windows machine to an android tablet (that won't support SMB file sharing)

Instead of using a lead, use a USB memory stick and the transfer box that came with it.
OK I stand corrected, prompted a reply though ☺
