I'm trying to upload my CV to a site but it tells me the format is unsupported. My CV is wps. The site tells me it has to be one of the following htm, html, doc, docx, pdf, rtf, txt. Can I change the format and if so how do I do this, I don't really understand this sort of thing.

When you save your cv in your word processor you should see a box titled something like 'Save As' It should have a drop-down menu giving the types of file that can be created. I would select RTF as a first choice and try to upload that.
Open your CV, goto file > save as and select rich text (RTF) from the "save as type" drop down and then upload the new file you will have just created.
