Lazy Mouse Scroll (wheel)

Hi I have a mouse that will wheel down the page, but refuses to go back up,I have tried with trouble shoot,but wondered if any good soul could help, to point me in the right direction,is to do with drivers?

Sounds like you'll have to clean the mouse, as detritus gets in the workings of the mouse. Take bottom cover off teh mouse, and using a cotton bud wipe all the contacts inside the mouse to remove the accumulated gunk.

Unless it is an old fashioned 'roller-ball' type, I doubt that you will be able to take it apart.

Personally, when you can buy a new optical one for as little as a fiver, I would purchase a new mouse.

Hi thanks for interest needed a good clean only, one screw and remember where the springs and things go back hey presto done.
