Skydrive makes computer Will Not Repond

Hi
Up until now I have used SkyDrive to store documents and photos but now when I try to open Skydrive on my PC it freezes and will not respond. This dosn't happen on my laptop and I can acess the files in the usual way. Have I done something to my PC that blocks SkyDrive somehow.
Would be grateful for any suggestions,Thanks
