recently got a 4gig sandisk memory card for my phone to download some music from my laptop. I have clicked and draged them from my mucic folder into the card icon also tryed selecting and right clicking the title and chose "send to" ect., but no matter how I try, the the list of songs turn up on my phone with a picture icon instead of a speaker icon and wont play. What am I doing wrong I wonder? I'm using a card reader to do all this and then transfering it to my phone, almost there but missing something vital obviously but what can it be? any help is realy appreciated :)

It might be an obvious answer, kara, but have you put your music on your phone in a format that the phone can read (I had a Sony Ericsson W810i and it would only play .mp3 files. It would still show music in Windows Media Audio format)?

It might help if you tell us what phone you have. Someone else might be able to give you more advice.

Well, it's an Orange "Lisbon" model, touch screen but not too sophiticated as I earned it from my top ups- an incentive thing they do for customers.
