IE9 and address toolbar

Has to reinstall IE9 recently. I liked the fact that all the open tabs appeared on the taxbar and only one one on the address bar, now when I open the internet I get two tabs on the address bar and only one on the taskbar. Have tried help but cannot find out how to revert to previous setings. Can anyone help? Many thanks in advance

You don't have tabs on the address bar .. and you don't have tabs on the taskbar.
You mean two tabs in the current window .. and another window (with one tab)?
Look in the settings under Tools/Internet Options ... and the Homepage window (you can have one or more addresses there to open more than one tab on start) or the tab settings.
