Cannot turn off InPrivate Browsing

My computer is not saving my viewed web pages to history,only just stopped doing this.I have found that my InPrivate Browsing is turned on..but I cannot turn it off.I have looked in Windows Help and Support but am not getting where it tells me to turn it off.

Am running IE9 which I am beginning to hate!

Go into Tools> Internet Option
About one third of teh way down is a Browsing history section. There is a box that says "Delete browsing history on exit". If this is ticked you need to untick it.

Go to the safety bar at the top. you can turn it off from there
