According to Wikipaedia he was playing for Forest when he gained his first England Caps.

I seem to think it was Everton.

I've got the Everton miscellany.
Bit of useless information, but I say Frank Soo play for Shrewsbury Town against Peterborough United in 1949.

He played right half and was bloody good.

He played for Everton, Chelsea, Millwall, Brentford and Reading, he made his first appearance against Wales 09/05/1942. that's from Wiki too.

Still played though, guested is a little like a loan I suppose, all his caps came during or immediately after the war whilst the main league programme was suspended.
All reports indicate he was a bit of a star.
