I have been happily posting, and answering questions on Answerbank, for quite some time. All of a sudden, people's attitudes have started to deteriorate. What's the matter with some of you? All had personality by-passes or something?

hush dear, multiple postings don't help; just a thought, don't lose your rag now. ;-)
i am sometimes misguided, some times wrong and sometimes i just don't read things the way they were meant to be read, even with the law degree to help me decipher meanings, but i think that the most important thing you can bring to answerbank is a friendly attitude, no one is forced to answer multiple questions or even give them time of day, personally i dont pay much attention to repeated questions or the question police that get stressed about them, some people just need to let of steam, some people just dont understand stuff... nothing i dont have to deal with in the real world, i'm still friendly nelli :-)
I'm with treaclefight on this - people need to lighten up a little. My personal irritation is the questions asked simply because the Questioner already knows the answer, rather than to obtain a response with unknown information. That said, I just ignore them - we are a democracy here, so anyone has the right to be as annoying as they like, it's tje price to be paid for an 'all welcome' site like this, and I wouldn't have it any other way. If repeated / tedious / facile / clever questions annoy you, ignore them!
I think that sometimes people have very strong views on some subjects and will argue their case. Nothing wrong in that as long as we are all polite and the question posted was one that invites debate. One of the people who disagrees with me most on the WOMD issue is someone whose views I have come to respect highly. I personally like hearing the opposite point of view to mine as I think we learn more by opening our minds to a well thought out critique of our own views and exploring an issue from all angles.

Thanks ppl, you all get 4 stars ! I suppose it's the little flippant, throwaway remarks people make, I'm all for humour, and teasing...it's funny. But there is line, there are some great characters on here, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one who seems to be at the wrong end of the tongue of some bad ones! I don't mind strong opinions, that's what I like about Answerbank, but some of the idiotic remarks are just stupid. Sorry for the multiple post....purely because I didn't know where to post this, Sorry ED
