The BBC continue to try and get people interested in the lame duck known as Womens Football. From what I've seen of it, it's a complete joke. How anyone can take it serious is beyond me. Not very skillful, lacking intensity, and really low crowds. Stop wasting part of our licence fee on this non-event please BBC.

Cheer up, 10CS. Some people like it. Cricket and some other sports get fewr spectators. There's plenty of other sports on.
The standard is actually far higher than you or I have ever played at, I'm sure

personally i think all football is boring, but it behoves the BBC to cover minority sports as well as mainstream
Isn't it just on the red button though this weekend rather than on the main BBC1/2 channels
Many women *are* interested in Women's Football and as Licence-payers why shouldn't they be able to watch a sport they enjoy?
10CS is just miffed because they don't swap shirts at the end ....
jth, surely it's their hubbies who pay the licence fees...
I don't want male sports on either. Unfortunately you can't choose where the licence fee goes.

I'm amazed that Women's Football is on the main channels often enough to cause complaint, seems to have passed me by.
Passed you by, Mamya....they'll never let you in goal then.... ;-)
Quite right too.
Aren't all things boring and a waste of money if you're not interested in them? Cricket, golf, rugby...my list goes on and on.
Yes, they're trying so hard that the highlights of the title deciding matches are on at 5 past midnight tonight, and the highlights show lasts a whole 35 minutes. I take it you haven't really seen much of the women's game, and if the BBC continues to schedule it in this fashion, it's really not going to concern you too much is it? I would imagine that the contribution from your licence fee towards the women's game is a tiny fraction of the £60 million paid for Match of the Day. I have a season ticket for both the Chelsea men's team and ladies' teams, and there is no difference in the intensity and commitment of the teams. The chief difference is the women spend far less time complaining, and just get on with the game. Maybe you'd like the F.A. to ban women's football again as they did with Dick Kerr's Ladies as the crowds they were getting were so large they were felt to be taking away from the men's game.
Perhaps you prefer 'Beach Volleyball'?
