Bargain Of The Day - Get Yourself To Home Bargains .....

So I went to Home Bargains today, looking for a pack of toothbrushes.
I found a 4 pack of Colgate toothbrushes for 79p - bear in mind it wasn't a promotional pack of buy 2, get 2 free, or anything similar ..... it was just a straight 4 pack.

Next to it on the shelf, was a 2 pack of exactly the same toothbrush for 99p .... errmm ..... what's that all about then lol??

I even asked one of the assistants if the price was right and she just smiled and said, "yea" and looked at me as if to say, "hey I don't make the price up; I simply put the price on the shelf".

By the way, I bought 5 packets (of the 4 pack of course) .....

I'd never been in the place till a week ago and bought three sachets of curry sauce, each was 59p, highly recommended by a curry snob friend of a friend.
Have to say it was delicious.
Bargains to be had.

Depends on what you want the toothbrushes for. I get a pack of 2 Sainsburys Basics for 25p. Brilliant for cleaning in the corners of bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise I use my Sonicare to clean my teeth.

I use my old toothbrushes for cleaning round the bath, etc.
I replace them every few months or so, so I've got a few years supply lol.

I think some people are missing the point of this thread though:

Pack of 4 toothbrushes for 79p

or

pack of 2, of exactly the same toothbrush, for 99p
