Is this the most 'complicated' sport , ( with respect to the rules ) to follow ?

And what's with that funny bloke on that toy motorcycle ? - lol

The funny bloke is on cycle called a gurney. I can never understand the Madison race:-/

I can readily understand some of the races, like the one where every two laps the last one at the back drops out.

Of course i could read up on the rules , if i so wanted

It's a durney
The motorised bike is a Derny.
I love watching track cycling.
It's hard to keep track of who's winning in the long distance races.
Forgotten what the race is called but can someone give the reason for the man on a motorbike? If its to give the riders a flying start it would be more exiting for the riders to be jostling and finding their own speed.
The keirin. The riders all jostle for positions and try to get to the place they prefer at the start, and when the man who looks like a vicar on a scooter drives off the track, it's basically a sprint. I love it :)
