Title Builder Beta

Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Help please with the following ...

1a _ U _ C _ M _ Regurgitated slime covers colt born to die (7) SUCCUMB?? If so, why?

27a N _ _ _ Top of pole badly opposed to 10 (4) (answer to 10 is "WILL") NILL?? If so, why?

21d E _ R _ _ _ G Sound brrier broken by quiet listeners (7) EARRING?? If so, why?

1a you have mucus backwads around c for colt and then b for born - to succumb to something can mean to die from it - thinking about the others

Nill means 'will not' according to Chambers so it's the opposite of will. I finished it but can't for the life of me remember what 21d was!

I remember! It was EARPLUG - two words for listener (ear and lug) broken by P for quiet (piano)
