Advice Needed On Adult Tricycles

Hi
A friend of mine is considering getting an adult tricycle and
would welcome advice from anyone who has used one to try and get fit.
Are they difficult to ride after being used to a 2 wheel cycle? Any
help or recommendations would be much appreciated.

used to have rides on a friend's years ago, and found it tended to want to go its own way, and had to keep a frip on the steering - mind you, that has probably been improved by now ( rather like steering a suypermarket trolley best way to describe it)

Thank you Mags22. I understand what you say about the trolleys (they have a mind of their own, a bit like donkeys also )
