how long will it take to change the brake shoes on my mk6 escort. I'm not a mechanic but used to do jobs on cars in the past.

Should only take about an hour if you get the drums off ok, they can be a b******* if there is a lip on them, you would be advised to have new set of hold down springs handy just in case.
