Festival!!! Good job I didn't get the first letter wrong as well.
Hi, Togo, and festicals to you, too:-) In the endless battle of wits between us punters and those nasty, horrid bookmaker chappies, we may just come out on top today. That's if the stats are upheld. I see you have tried to find some value in the e.w. market but, being a devotee of stats, i'm gung-ho on these horses who tick most boxes in the first 4 races. Unfortunately, all shorties in the market;

Brain Power, Apples Shakira, Might Bite and Supasundae. Had just £4.20 in my 888 account (forgotten it was there, to be honest) so i've done a little 39/1 acca which returns £168.46.

With a bit more adventure;

4.05 Ain; Barrakilla @ 12/1
4.15 Sou; Kingstreet Lady @ 4/1
4.40 Ain; Theinval @ 6/1 (Rev f/c with Bun Doran)
5.15 Ain; Posh Trish @ 8/1

Win singles, 20p lucky 15, 50p e.w. acca. 4 placed = £30, 4 winners = £3,421.

Best of luck, Togo and all punters

Then start your own thread........Nothing like being the first to have a winge I'm sure.
Yes, you moan every year but you never start your own "Moan" thread. You always hijack another. Change the record.
Any grand national tips?
I'm waiting to see what the going is on Saturday, melv, before i nail my colours to any masts.
Thanks for the reply.

I had a sneaky regard for a bit of E/W on the grey(almost white) horse ridden by Katie Walsh, and trained by her husband, Baie Des Iles. But the price has tumbled from 50s to about 14s in the last few days. Seems like the public has cottoned on to a possible fairy tale result. Still it would suit our Disneyland mindset watchers. Will hang on now and see if the price goes back up a tad.
Read this morning that there is lots of interest in all 3 ladies in the race. Willy Hill are offering 10s that one of them win it. Only a matter of time before a female rider does become the first and i remember getting 8/1 on any lady trainer winning it when Jenny Pitman's Corbiere won it back in '83. Think there were 3 lady trainers with runners in that race?

True Ken. Our brave keyboard hand wringers wouldn't have the gonnads to call one of those girls a chinless wonder to their faces either.
Only 2 horses in the first that ticked most boxes - and i chose the wrong one:-/
