...... well apart from picking the wrong team, making the wrong substitutions at the wrong times, I thought he was quite good. !

...... no, not really ...... I agree with you ! lol ;o)
If the FA sack him he will probably get a few more million quid. He should resign after next Wednesday.
Don't blame the manager. For example, he did pick one of the best strikers in England...but Rooney just did not perform. We do have our keeper for the next game though.
It's a pity the manager didn't tell him to play where he's best ...... centre forward ! Fancy playing him in midfield in the second half !
I never believed England would actually win thw World Cup...I only hoped they might.
After tonights performance though, my initial beliefs seem to ring true.
I thinks Capello should be sacked after tonights game. What's the point in paying him 5 million quid a year when he cant even speak English, and therefore unable to communicate with the players!

So far his England record is W18, D4, L4. Is that the record of a useless manager? We're still in the tournament and will go through if we beat Slovenia - okay it feels like a big 'if' right now but I think all the 'sack him now' stuff is stupid. So far we've matched the Italia 90 opening results exactly and then we got through to the semi's. Let's see what happens against Slovenia before we start demanding his resignation.

England fans are like big wailing kids, hating their rice pudding one moment, eating it up the next. If we win on Wednesday, he'll be a hero suddenly.

give the players more time when he anounces the team, they might be able to train in that team. no good two hours before
I thought the team looked tired, and I thought Rooney was sugar,

I wonder if they are overtraining, or it's just they are stifled by Don Capello's style. Much as I love him I would have taken Lampard off last night so stevie G could go into the middle and put Joe Cole on the left. Talking with friends after the match the comparison with Jose Mourinhos management style was made, if things were not going well he would make substitutions really early none of this wait until after the 60th minute it was obvious we were struggling by 20 mins, I also feel the more there is a public and media demand for Joe Cole to play the less likely he is to start, Its almost as if Don Capello is reacting against the pressure
