I replied "Oh good - that matches my sense of humour then".
She didn't laugh.

Well, what would you have said?

What does wry maen ?.
Question Author
in medical terms: awry, twisted to one side. Painful.
in SOH terms: bitter and twisted.
:-)
Question Author
actually, in SOH terms, I'd rather say I was gently mocking or nicely teasing as opposed to bitter...:-)
Torticollis........I am not interested as it is nothing to do with sex.

Fairweather Lover....

It could affect my sexual performance - does that count? I might not be able to get 'down' and dirty this weekend - any advice on that score?
perhaps it was caused by sex, sqad.
Question Author
It was caused by bedroom nocturnal activity actually - (reading without being properly propped up).
wil massage not help?
vulcan......good point ......never thought of that.

salla......couldn't care less about your sex weekend unless it involved me .........and if it did, not being able to move ypur head would be of little consequence to sqaddy.................position 53 with 2 pillows.
or you could strap yourself down and tell him your trying the s&m scene
Well maybe if you'd had a proper 'propping up' this wouldn't have happened
Question Author

I used to know a parrot with a wry neck. It was so bent that it always looked up or to the side. Lived to a ripe old age.

Polly? Was she Pretty?
Question Author
cos you can get away with a lot if you're pretty - even if you're neck's twisted.
I'd have said "again I had it when I was 14"

No disrespect but I thought this was more commonly suffered by teenagers.

In my case my neck pretty much locked up and they gave me a muscle relaxant - was better in a day or so and I never suffered again
according to the RSPB, the wryneck is a woodpecker with a large head and long tongue.;-)
Question Author
I'm no teenager jake, but no geriatric either.
A slug of sloe gin will help, of that I am sure.
