CG You will be sad and angry when you leave Auschwitz Birkenau. One of several monuments to man's inhumanity to man. It's still going on today in various parts of the world. Man is still the most evil creature that ever lived.

I'm with my mother, WBM. My husband said he couldn't spare the time because of the renovations.

CG in that that case you and your mum will need a drink! It's something that will stay in your mind for the rest of your life, it will make you look at life a bit differently.

Morning all - advice to Lady CG, take two boxes of tissues at least.

Overcast here this morning - didn't get in this cottage I am looking at but saw it from the outside and some photos of the interior and it's ideal, located on an estate.....the letting agent is away on a course this week but it isn't actually on the market as the existing tenants are still in, expecting their house completion at the end of the month. Will set completion here for end Oct with a proviso that we may bring it closer....I also have to allow for the move and clearances here too as well as the place may need a deep clean and some painting though, from the pics, it looks to be in good condition.

I think so - and I'm hopefully on an inside track as the agent's old boss is our estate agent here, JC having left the company to set up his own business. He has put a word in as to my insanity - going to get their paperwork today and get that in so she has it to hand next week.
