I actually thought Fergie was pretty sporting last night in his post-match comments, even saying Wigan deserved their win. Credit where credit is due, no matter the recipient.
I thought, however, he usually trotted out the old chestnut "the league table doesn't lie", but in this case suggested otherwise.

I'm a Manchester United fan from Manchester. Born in Ancoats. I'm more Manchester than City and United put together. Before last nights' game I said the one team you do not t to play right now are Wigan. They've played so well in recent weeks but at times haven't got the result they deserve. They did that last night. Whilst I was watching I thought one team really looked like relegation material and the other looked like league leaders, but it was the other way round to what I expected.
I've said before on here that I can't understand why people get themselves worked up about a game of football to the piont where you have the venomous comments as in earlier posts. It's always baffled me and still does.
