It doesn't seem too likely, in the near future...

Ask any Manchester United fan who has visited the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough and they'll tell you that they stand throughout the entire match, despite the Stewards telling them to sit down. I think the Stewards have given up trying.

I, for one, don't see too much of a problem with it. I think it's been on trial in certain parts of Europe without incident.

I think all-seaters are much better apart from the prats who insist on arriving 10mins late, leave just before half-time, come back in after the match has restarted and then leave 10 mins before the end.I am sure this happened in the days of all standing but we didnt notice it then as we didnt have to keep standing up and sittind down to let them in and out
I'd like to see the terraces brought back,if anything you can chose who you stand next to which you can't do with seating.
The two blokes that sit behind me at the Albion are the biggest moaners in the World..Their inane ramblings and constant criticism drives me nuts.
I'm a placid sort of chap but one day I'm gonna thump them..they also moan when anybody stands up during an exciting passage of play...Rare when we are in the Prem I'll grant you, but what do they expect.
Bloody whingers!...What's the point in going if you hate the team so much??

Bring back the terrace.I can't stand not standing and having to sit in the stands!
:-(
I for one do not wish to see the return of terracing to replace the all seating arrangements which are in place at the moment. Safety is paramount and I do not wish to see another Hillsborough or Heysel. Crowd surges on open Terracing can be dangerous, but by having seating in place it makes the Stadia much safer. The cost of attending Football matches in the Premier League is not likely to come down as the Top Clubs sell out their Tickets every week. Standing does take place at all seater Grounds but it is far safer than what we used to have.
as a wolves fan and always sitin the south bank i like to stand along with the other 70% of the stand. we had this debate on molineux mix the other week (fans forum) and 1 bloke took some stick cus he said if anyone stands in front of him he tells the steward.
i would like to see part terraces back in all grounds. just 1/2 a stand where you're allowed to stand, this would then allow the standers to stand and the sitters to sit. i found it amazing that when i sat elsewhere there we're old people knitting, kids on gameboy's while the match was in flow. also when me and the lads started singing everyone looked at us...
the Germans have standing areas in their top stadiums, they get bigger crowds than the englandshire Premier and they do not seem to have any safety problems. in englandshire the clubs are to greedy to let fans in cheaper to stand, that is the problem
