lol well I thought I would log in before my study period started - MIL is getting an sky upgrade today - she sent us the viewing card in the post as she thought it was a scam!!! We have sent it back with instructions but I expect several calls!

I feel my patience will be tested today - a lot!

I've done the clicking, now OH is about to do the collecting. We have a joiner coming today to adjust the new doors he fitted, and a chap to service the boiler. So that's why I'm up and about earlier than usual, how exciting...

I'm sad. My furbaby, Miss Emily, is poorly. We are going to vets at 11.15. She can hardly walk and is very sorry for herself. I think she may have been attacked by a larger cat or even a dog. It seems to be her back that is hurting.

Good morning...and (((hugs))) back to everyone.

I was woken by the sound of a door being knocked on. Didn't think it was mine. Went downstairs a few minutes later to discover Royal Mail card. It was for an Amazon parcel "due by 8pm tomorrow". Grrr...I'll have to make sure I'm up for delivery tomorrow morning.

BM, I hope your little girl is ok and can be easily mended.

I really hope that Miss Emily is OK and it was just a bit of a scrap.

Bollinger is at the vets tomorrow evening - she is not very well and tbh we are worried.

You'll be at the vets this very minute BM so I hope you and Miss Emily are getting good news.

I'm taking my little dog Jay to the vets this afternoon as he has been walking on 3 legs for a couple of days. Holds back L/hand leg in the air when walking and puts it down when he stops. He went out into the garden for a pee and walked straight up to the righthand side fence and tried to cock his right leg up. Realised there was no left leg capable of holding him up so immediately turned roundand managed his pee. So funny, clever boy LOL.

Barmaid

Well we are back. She has a high temp and a fast heart beat, but vet could find no clinical reasons for her condition (although she miraculously regained the ability to walk in the surgery). She does have 2 puncture wounds which are not infected. Had a choice of leaving her there for x-rays and bloods or bringing her home with painkillers and anti-inflammatories and monitor her for 24 hours. So she has come home and she is staying in. She has wolfed down some food though. Fingers crossed she is OK. Thank you for your good wishes.

For those who also have poorly furbabies - I wish your little darlings the very best. xx
