Does your body, or just your soul end up in heaven/hell?

Whenever someone dies and ends up in heaven/hell are they there as they were on earth or is it just their soul which ends up there? Also, are people who died before god was invented there or do you have to believe in that stuff for it to take effect?

Listen guys, Instead of arguing..lol if this question is so important to you all. Why don't you read the bible from cover to cover and think about it logically. I have a feeling some of you are posting here without even having read the bible " in context ". I feel most of you have just done a quick Google search on Christians and hell and just posted.
How can you comment on Christianity without reading the bible ?
That is the same as me walking into a hospital and trying to make a diagnosis on a patient after I've read a few medical papers online or in a store 0_o
