jesus is no more real in my life than Krishna (who has a strangly parelell mythology to jesus), Zoroatstra (who has a strangly parralel mythology to jesus) or any of the other pagan saviour gods (who all have a strangly parallel mythology to jesus).
I prefer reality over myths.
'Stuff' happens, get over it.
(reality can be quite nice sometime Theland. You ought to try it sometime)
