From what i have seen so far it is very oppressive very negative and also very dogmatic in the way you live your life.

anyone wanna try and change my media influenced views on muslim culture?

and please no-one start raving on about how bad all muslims are- they cant all be bad so i just want someone to explain to me on an unhostile thread what they're all about.

What has the Theland to do with this question, Naomi24? Sadly you have proved me right - you just wish to be argumentative. I will stay out of things most of the time as your 'discussions' are a waste of my energy but please do not tell me what to do - you are no more the AB police than I am!!
Catron You clearly didn't read my first post properly. I said I'd come across you before, and then you were criticising someone - and that's where Theland comes in. You were criticising Theland unnecessarily - and on two different threads under two different names.

Far from telling you what to do, Catron, since you say you have no wish to join in our discussions, I merely invited you not to. The content of R&S may not be to your liking, but it's unreasonable of you to expect others to debate only subjects of which you approve, and in ways of which you approve. I don't contribute to Chatterbank regularly because the discussions there hold no interest for me, but I wouldn't presume to try to prevent those who enjoy that particular section from contributing as they see fit.

Wiz I don't know where Theland is. He did have some problems with his computer a few weeks ago, so perhaps it's not working.
Once again you just wish to argue, naomi24. You INVITE me not to join in your discussions? Gee thats big of you!!

You can say what you wish about other threads I have posted on but you are missing the point of why I posted on THIS thread originally. You have seen the hostility on every other Islam thread raised here recently, some for the express purpose of inciting such hostilty - all I was doing was asking The Sherman, why, in the light of this hostilty, if they wanted an unbiased view of Islam, they did not Google.

If you wish threads to degenerate into the anti-religion stance they so often do, and call that discussion that is up to you.
Catron, You're like a dog with a bone. If people didn't have opposing views there would be no debate or argument. Yes, it does get heated at times - and not only on the subject of Islam - but no one is forced to join in. It's their choice.
Catron- In Naomi's case I am 100 % with you. She just likes the views of those people who say what she wants them to say. Naomi- I did not say your friend drinks. All I said that if you had to ask her if drinking was allowed in Islam or not and I know if she would say Yes then you would say she is moderate or Good. But No Muslim has right to over - rule God's Clearly given laws. Even if that makes him or her good Muslim in the eyes of the others. Because in all the societies we have seen people doing something which may look desireable today but tomorrow it would turn into something bad. Australian thought the same about the Aboriginal kids when they were trying to make them Westernly Civilised, only to accept later that they made a mistake. Religious rulings are same for centuries and would be same, and one more thing. I am still waiting for the answres to my questions I asked you.

Coming from you wizard66, I'll take that as a compliment. You are a seriously deranged individual who made us all believe you were going to commit suicide and now you have the gall to call anybody who does not agree with you twisted. You are a fool of the highest order. Who was the bully who raised two or three threads purely to stir up religious hatred - oh yes, it was you.

And to think The Sherman wanted an unhostile thread - you have proven my warnings and all I have written on this thread to be correct. What a unintelligent dummy you are!!

Keyplus yet again you are making arrogant assumptions, and yet again you are completely wrong. You haven't a clue what I'd say if my friend chose to drink alcohol, but I'll enlighten you and perhaps you won't make the same mistake again. I would say it's her choice, and not my business.

As far as your questions go, I am not a scientist, so I've no idea if science can answer them.

Now will you answer my question, which you've avoided for several days.

Thanks Wiz. I appreciate that.

Catron, What a very compassionate person you are. Well, you're in good company with the caring and loving Keyplus who delights at the idea of the infidel being hung upside down by his God.
Bedtime, night all.
Slightly inciting there aren't we? - That does not come from me, it comes from someone else.

Respect you, wizard66? What have you done that I should respect you? You do not even have the intelligence to argue your case without swearing!
Catron Slightly inciting - and that does not come from you, it comes from someone else? What on earth are you talking about?

If you're referring to the fact that Keyplus takes delight in the thought of the Infidel being hung upside down by his God, I wouldn't consider my reference to it 'inciting', since it is a fact. He said it - and if that's not 'inciting', I don't know what is. However, you continue to defend such a hateful mentality if you want to Catron - that's your choice - but don't try to stop others from airing their opinions too.

Perhaps you'd prefer it if everyone consulted you before they post a question, or an answer, just to make sure you approve?

Your nonsense is becoming tiresome, so bye for now.
Perhaps you should be more aware of what wizard66 is saying on other threads before you have a go at me again, naomi24.

It is strange too that you put me in the same camp as Keyplus90 when I have not mentioned them or referred to them in any post.

It is nonsense to try and stop the incitement of the religious hatred that goes on on this topic? Ah well, I'd rather it was thought of as nonsense than have the respect of wizard66 (or yourself if you are aligning yourself with him on this matter).
Catron My last word to you. Do you consider it to be religious hatred only when someone other than a Muslim airs a view? Is it ok for a Muslim to say that all Muslims are better than non-Muslims? Is it ok to say that Muslim acts of atrocity are just media hype? Is it ok to deny that Ken Bigley, and the poor souls who were beheaded alongside him, were killed by Muslims, and to ask me if I can prove they were? Is it ok to say that Muslims come to the west to change our way of life? A direct quote from Keyplus ....

'As far as the domination of Islam is concerned. Truth will always come out on top, sooner or later. You believe it or not. Your problem'.

And you wonder why people respond negatively? Incitement? Who is guilty of incitement? If Keyplus wants to contribute to AB, then he (and you) must accept the consequences.

I know exactly what was said on the other threads, which is why I'm appalled that anyone would even attempt to prevent others from responding to Keyplus' dreadful, destructive mentality - which is, in effect, what you are doing by trying to stop people from speaking their minds. You say it's strange that I put you in the same camp as Keyplus, but why wouldn't I? You've denigrated those who have contributed to the other threads, but your admonishment appears to exclude Keyplus, so what else am I to think?

I don't hate anyone, Catron, and I have defended Islam many times on AB. I began by welcoming Keyplus to AB because I was genuinely interested in his views. However, having followed the threads closely, I have come to the sad conclusion that he is not concerned with anyone else's opinions, and he has a definite agenda - and one that isn't conducive to the enhancement of cultural relations in this country. Whilst that may not worry you, the implications of it frighten the life out of me - and I will defend my right to voice my concerns - whether you like it or not.

As for your respect, that I can do without. I have the respect of those I respect, so your opinion of me is of little consequence.
Catron - I am with you on lots of these points. And I am not trying to Patronizing you. If according to Naomi, I believe that infidels would be hanged upside down by the God, I can not change as that it is up to the Almighty, As he is the most merciful and the most forgiving so even he can forgive anyone who he would like to, and that is purely between the Almighty and an individual. Nothing to do with me. As far Naomi and Wizard are concerned, You only have to change the names around and whatever they say about others, becomes 100% true about themselves.
Naomi - as far as your stubbornness is concerned that I have to answer your question, then All I have to say that you are using same method which few missionaries use. Just keep on saying "Oh we are still waiting for answers". Even Hitler once said that you should be so persistent on telling lies that it should start looking like truth. In simple language people call it PROPAGANDA.
As far as I see it, God does not make those choices. Humans make the choices, based upon their moral ideology, respect and faith (in whatever they choose).

If you told me that someone should hang upside down because it is the will of God, I would kick your arse back into the dark ages.
