I have just moved next to a Spiritulist place and they sing and do things on the car park right by my house and I was just wondering what!

Thanks

If they are in the car park next to your house, they are probably looking for the numpty that forgot the key to the hall. If you are curious, then why not pop your nonce over the wall and ask. No doubt someone will be only too happy to enlighten you. Try to avoid asking on a night with a full moon though, especially if you are a virgin.

I am spiritualist and I've never 'done things' in a car park. Normally we have a meeting hall or church, sing hymns and talk about spirit helping in our lives and then we have guest speakers that are sometimes mediums or psychics and they send messages from loved ones to the congragation. It's all very peaceful and harmonius.

A great quote, but for the life of me I do not know who said it, is

"Religion is for people who believe in Hell, Spirituality is for people who have been there"

It makes sense to me.
No one knows who said it Shadow Man, although it's often quoted. It's origins are in Alcoholics Anonymous.
The Bible says that contact with the dead is impossible, and that attempting it is sin - necromancy. Don't get involved in their practices.
Impossible, apart from in 1 Samuel 28, where it does, in fact, happen you mean?
In addition to Waldo's post, impossible, except that Moses and Elijah both appeared, and spoke with Jesus.
It's lack of gratitude that gets to me, Naomi. Here we are, helping Theland learn things about the bible he didn't know, and does he acknowledge our efforts?

No, he does not.

It's saddening, and disctinctly unChristian, if you ask me.
Waldo, I congratulate you on knowledge of the bible, I, myself am an ignoramus when it comes to the good book, but firmly believe in the Big Guy upstairs. I wish i had the time to study more! x
