So often strange phenomenon is debunked either by people of a science background or religious followers but there is more personal evidence or accounts of ghosts, film footage of U.F.O's and other unexplained events happening daily than someone physically being helped by God or jesus other than the practioner just stating,
Oh, it must of been God or my belief in Jesus.
So why is their belief in an invisible being or ghost(Jesus) more viable than someone's belief in other strange occurrences?

Hi Luna, it's not really more viable is it. If anything, it's less viable. To people who believe, God and Jesus are around somewhere, but invisible, and as they've never seen them, there's no evidence at all that they exist.

People who have seen ghosts and ufos have at least seen something with their own eyes, and therefore there must be more evidence for those things than for unseen entities.

Odd isn't it, yet just from a story we (humans) have even decided to base our whole chronology on.
It is odd. Some seem to make their mind up that things others say they've seen are definitely impossible - even though they believe in something even more unlikely without a shred of evidence.

At least they still have the bones of St. Niclaus somewhere in Italy.
Do they? Where?

They seem to have a lot of relics, but often different churches claim to have the same thing. I think there's several bits of the 'true cross' floating around.

Somewhere in Southern Italy, a place called Bari. they were supposedly moved from Myra, Turkey(a.k.a Antalya).
Oh really? That's interesting.

I was reading yesterday about a place in the South of France where the Virgin Mary's mother is supposed to be buried. I wonder how many other sites there are around the world that have a special claim on things like this?
Question Author
All these so-called relics maybe tactile but the facts are a little thin to say the least.
Exactly. Where did they get Mary's mother from for goodness sake? Where does she figure in the story?
Question Author
They've probably got Jesus' pet cat aswell.
Meoweth!

I was thinking of Tiddlyus.
Wasn't he the Roman one?
