I think this bunch of kno*bs should just crawl away and die, just been reading at their latest 'crusade' at publicity, climbing onto stonehenge?????????what is that all about? tell you what - if any of them were MY dad, wouldnt want him to get access!!! I'd die of shame.
I understand what theyre about but good god surely there are more dignified ways of going about it? Just a bunch of di**heads playing 'dressing up' if you ask me, (and i know you didnt but...........just had to share it ) x

Until I split with my ex, I thought they were brilliant, raising their profile, we all know what they are about. Now I shudder to think that they could help him get his mitts on my kids, some children just dont need their dads effing up their lives.
i must admit their actions are very extreme and i agree that they are a bunch of kno*s and they are going about things the wrong way but i can tell you from bitter experience that their is nothing worse than having your kids being kept away from you....
Have you given thought to the fact that this is producing exactly what they want ~ publicity?
I agree that they are a bunch of losers, and that if any of them were my father I'd die of shame, but you can't deny that all the while they pull these idiotic stunts the subject remains high in the forefront of public consciousness.
i agree samuel23 but it wont actually let bitter twisted ex wives let the kids dads have proper access to them.
Absolutely stokeace. I'm sure that it doesn't have any effect on those women who simply just don't want to allow their ex any form of contact or access. That will have to be left for the courts to decide. I was just trying to point out that (in the words of the PR gurus) no publicity is bad publicity.
I think they're great. When you reach rock bottom you do anything to get yourself back up - if your kids were taken from you by some stone faced cow who defied court orders, and the only way you could get publicity for it was to dress as batman, you'd be in the costume shop as fast as your legs could carry you.

i agree it must be painful being kept away from your kids, but samuel in this case i (personally) think that this sort of publicity is getting them attention for all the wrong reasons! i mean nobody i know takes them seriously?
thanks for all your answers tho ; )
100% right samuel23 and you as well whickerman hang on while i find my batman mask out lol
It's such a shame they are giving themselves this image. My fiance has a daughter and for the first time I started to understand what they were all about and thought they were fab for bringing attention to the injustice of some fathers not being able to see their kids....but now they're just plain embarrassing. What a shame after raising their profile for such a worthy cause.
lol @ stokeace - have you got a mate that can tag along with you dressed as Robin?
I do agree with you curly ~ no disputing the fact they are now embarrassing and making themselves a laughing stock. It's sad to see a bunch of grown men acting like buffons, but they certainly do get noticed and that seems to be the main point they are trying to get across, that they want to be noticed.
Lorla has put her finger on it (oooh eer missus! lol) it has got past the point of sensibility now.
curly perm,
i think you should do a little research, before
you bang on inane and simplisticaly on what is
a complicated subject.
the actions of these people are extreme, yes
and some of them stupid.
but the main reason for most of these people is to highlight a grave injustice being perpetrated on some fathers, and is an act of
desperation. i have a friend who,s marriage
broke up, although he was not at fault for
the break up, his ex wife was the one who
had an affair. she moved house and denied
him access to his 2 children, when he went
to face her to try to negotiate access,
he was beaten up by her boyfriend,
he went to court and was granted access
by the magistrate, but every time he tried to
see them, she would not be in even though
she had arranged for him to call to pick them up. or she would not answer the phone.
so she was in fact still denying access. the courts grant access but do not follow up
the judgement, when it is not complied with.
she even denied his parents access to thier grandchildren, his mum has had a nervous
breakdown. it is heart breaking for them,
they have done absolutly nothing to her.
although i dont condon a lot of the actions
of f.f.j i certainly can understand their
frustration, when this goverment condons
such unjust laws.
What everyone appears to have missed here is that it is not just fathers who are being denied access to their children! Everyone is of the opinion that it's always the fathers that are hard done by, and although on the whole it probably is, it is not always the case!
I hate to be controversial here, but my boyfriend has a child who lives with him full time. The child's mother has access to see the child whenever she likes, but unfortunately she chooses not to see the child regularly. It seems to be a sporadic thing whenever she feels like it, not regular contact that would actually benefit the child.

I just wanted to make the point that not all dad's walk way without a second thought, or walk away without contributing emotionally or financially to a child's upbringing (although mine did - I won't bore you with that though!). My boyfriend has had to make many sacrifices along the way, as anyone would, to ensure that his child is cared for in the best possible way. Not only that, but the child has a disability, which increases the pressure on my boyfriends life. Dad's often get a slating in the press, and in most cases, rightly so, but as in many areas of life, not all people are the same, there are some good people out there too working hard to improve the lives of their families.

The fathers for justice group get exactly what they want - publicity for their cause, but at the same time they don't show themselves favourably sometimes in their actions.
Sad times for you, your boyfiend and his children HappyBear. It is a shame when the children suffer due to the actions of the adults. The only thing is to give them as much love and support as possible and hope they come to understand that it isn't their fault, as I know from listening to my friends talking that children often think it is their fault when a parent abdicates their responsibilities.
Sunny ~ c'mon don't have a dig at curly for a personal point of view. It's tough on fathers when they are denied access, but you have to ask ~ is this the best way to conduct a serious campaign for justice?
efc i dont hear of many cases of the dad not letting the mother see the kids do you?
Ok, they do go about it the wrong way, but is there another?
Sending an Email to Tony Blair don't work, they ignore that. Marching around the capital with signs, that isn't going to do squat, they don't give a darn. Write to your MP, Hahahahahahahahahaha. Women have the upper hand when it comes to this subject and us poor blokes haven't a leg to stand on. Maybe your lucky, maybe your parents stuck together, maybe your misses will let you see your kids,, mine, is in Spain i haven't seen her ages, my ex is one of those ****** (female dogs), who enjoys the pain it causes, even though she was the one messing around and it cuts like a knife> i know that dressing up as batman and causing trouble aint going to help, but at least they are doing something. 'If it was your father, you wouldn't want him to have access', that was a pretty stupid comment, just be glad your dad hasn't got to stoop that low to be able to give you a hug. Maybe there wrong, but they are crying out and not all of them are gits, some are just victims of some cow with a grudge and a bad attitude.
I know a few guys who are in a similar situation as you mankymonkey. It seems to be fairly common for women to try to deny the father his right to see his children just out of spite. If the father isn't abusing his kids, then surley it's better for the children to have two loving parents (separately) even if they hate each other. The fact that these women can't see that is horrible!
sorry samuel 23,
guess i was out of order,
but it annoys me when people make sweeping
statements, about such sensitive subjects,
sorry curlyperm, i will try to restrain myself in future.
Until we have equal law in this country for both males and females, men must use any means possible to bring about equality.

Men can be left both homeless, pennyless and childless through no fault of theirs, just because the women decides she wants to get her life back, when generally she means she wants to play the field again.
My own experience...
I was denied access to my children for a while, thankfully now sorted out, but it took 2 years.
At the time it was like having your stomach ripped out, your head being crushed, beaten up on a daily basis.
So anyone out there who has no experience of this, think again...it's not a lighthearted matter.
