Do you have asthma?
If so, what medication do you take, and do you get any side effects? I have been taking Q-Var and Salbutamol, but they don't work. So I have to change my medication. But the new stuff Serevent contains Salmeterol which I REALLY don't like the sound of, looking it up on the internet. The asthma nurse seems SO unknowledgeable.

My son had appalling asthma when he was younger and ended up on chromogen (sp), serevant and flixotide, none of which I was too thrilled about, however they did stabilise it and we eventually managed to get him back down onto simple ventolin and finally once we'd done elaborate allergy tests we managed to devise a regime of wet dusting and avoidance of triggers that means that now he's inhaler free, although he still carries a ventolin just in case, but hasn't now had an attack for nearly four years.
Hi Scarlett, Have had Asthma since I was young. I am currently taking Salbutamol and Beclometasone using a cyclohaler. I find that the powder type capsules are much better than the aerosal based products which don't seem to work for me. As for side effects apart from the ocasional mouth ulcer I don't get any. I find the website ;
