Can someone please explain the ending of 'Blair witch Project' I assume they are dead but then why is he standing against the wall,?Can someone enlighten me,cheers? definately better than part 2 where hollywood took over and totally destroyed it!!

Earlier in the story it is explained that the killer made the kids face the wall as he murdered their friends. This was designed to indicate that the same had occured with the final protaganists.

So the shot at the end of him standing against the wall means he wasn't dead then,just not listening to heather screaming?

I saw it a while ago so it's a bit vague, but it means, like the kid's mentioned earlier, he was waiting his turn to be killed, facing the wall while the others where being killed by the baddie. Watch the first bit and the last bit again, all will be clear.

god that bit freaked me out in that film....i kept seeing him in the corner when i closed my eyes, it was horrible!!!

then again i am a bit of a woose!!!
