If YOUR holy book told you to kill people,
Would you?

Bet you wouldnt?
So why defend a book that does?
Probably because you havnt read it......

Guns don't kill people, readers of Bibles and Qurans do.

Yes, it was a question to you, pixie. See your post at 13:06.
Responding to your OP Nailit.

I wouldn't.

I don't.

I haven't read the Bible in its entirety.
Ah, ok //And religion doesn't influence the mind? Hmmm....//

Just seems bizarre. Millions of things influence minds, including religion. I can't imagine anyone would say otherwise? The majority don't resort to violence... so the question is still... why do some?
And that has been answered countless times.
Not while I've been on. Indulge me....
Considering even experts don't know- i genuinely would appreciate the answers.
No, I won't indulge you. You've had answers from me - more than once. If you want to go around the houses yet again go without me.
Not at all! Dodge away.
Denying indulgence of your repetitive psychobabble for once will be my pleasure.
I asked AH if he had read read the bible, which he claimed he has, 'in its entirety' and he has cleared off - strange that, maybe he will return to answer. In the mean time has anyone else on here, particularly it's antagonists read all of the bible?
Khandro, What do you mean? Does an antagonist equate to a critic?

Yes, I've read it in its entirety - also the Koran - but I think you know that.
//Yes, I've read it in its entirety//
Good there's one, any more?

Btw, It would take about three whole days and nights of non-stop reading to get from Genesis to Revelation at normal speed.
I have.
//psychobabble// lol! Sorry for your confusion.
Khandro. I remember you saying that before. I’ll take your word for it. It isn’t something I want to test.
Naomi - I wouldn't care less if you 'took my word' for something, the place where anyone needs your sanction for what they claim they have done, or not, remains in your imagination, and not here in the real world.
AH, Are you sure you’re in the real world? I don’t recall mentioning ‘taking your word’ - but now you mention it I don’t take your word for anything you say.
Khandro - // I asked AH if he had read read the bible, which he claimed he has, 'in its entirety' and he has cleared off - strange that, maybe he will return to answer. //

I have not 'cleared off' - I do have a life which does not consist entirely of fretting about abstract deities.

I have read the bible, in its entirity, and I am sure I can assume the courtesy of your believing me, rather than rather pompously confirming that you will 'take my word for it'.

I'd be surprised if anyone on here had any method of doing anything else other than 'taking the word' of the rest of the posters on a thread - surely we are adult enough not to lie pointlessly.
naomi - // ... but now you mention it I don’t take your word for anything you say. //

How refreshing - every day I find I have more in common with you than the day before.

Of course, this does call into question all your many and frerquent pronouncements about how Muslims think and feel.

But I appreciate that it doesn't bother you - just a brief reminder that you have never been as much of an authority as you present yourself to be, and would clearly like eveyone to believe you are.
AH. //I have read the bible, in its entirity //

When did you do so & under what circumstances?
Poor old AH. He really does have a problem. :o)

Khandro, perhaps he means the Beano.
