Why are there always 2 presenters to present the news. Even the local news have 2.

There aren't ALWAYS two presenters....some channels/bulletins have one. It's a matter of presenting style and fashion.
Personally, I don't watch any news that has two presenters....I think it both unnecessary and daft!
