56 Pillowcases

I'm radically downsizing and sorted out the airing cupboard, this afternoon. I found I had 56 pillowcases!!

Can anyone beat that?

No, I certainly can't! I have a dozen maybe.

I counted the pillows I have and found I had, nine. So even if you have 3 per pillow - one on, one in the wash and one for in case, that's an awful lot. Mind you it's after nigh on 40 years of family life. :/

I ended up putting the ones I don't want and can't really remember buying, in a Help For Heroes charity bag. It should be collected in the morning.

Our binmen take away fabric but when I put it out it's rarely there when the binmen show up in the morning!

Cut two eye holes in them and put them over your head and use them to scare the bejeesus out of the Halloween kids when they come rattling at your door.

I had a good old clear out a few weeks back and gave away at least 12 duvet sets on Freecycle....I wrap up duvet cover, sheet and 4 pillowcases together..so when I pull one out everything is there , no need to search around..have too many still...approx 15 sets I'd say..
