At least Camping's followers had the courage of their convictions even if they were misguided. Theres an awful lot of christians who are into this at the moment (just view the you tube vids and the comments following) who seem to believe that events in this month, (blood moon tetrads etc) signal the coming of Armaggedon. Doubt if many of them would be so sure to part with their wordly goods.
