What have they got against Katy?
Not sure they will. They are quite small and spreading too much will cause them problems . They are nit stupid by any means.
Expect them to start exporting terrorism to the West soon though.
Aren't there plenty within Jordan who would join them?
-- answer removed --
we will be 'in' big time, Jordan and the UK having been closely liked as 'allies' over the decades, esp. at royal family and govt to govt level.
yeah gads - linked....
I don`t think so. They tend to take advantage of the weakspot left by ousted despot dictators. Jordan doesn`t fall into the category of those countries and Isreal certainly doesn`t. I bet they would love to get their hands on Libya and Egypt though.
> and the prize, Jerusalem. <

i think a few wazzocks will be met by virgins up above before they get near jerusalem
It's all very worrying. Do you think they will Naomi?
You may well be right, 237....

as to the question of other OPEC countries intervening, they have their religous differences and sects as we do in the Christian faith, Kuwait, Bahrain and the Emirates, largely Sunnite with a a strong Shiite presence, Saudi Arabia, a real mix with Wahibis (fundamentalism and closer to Shiites in practice if not 'history or theory'), Oman and Jordan out on the wings, Yemen being Sunnites. In short, a real buqqers' muddle as we are! Then there is the question of manpower resource.....

If they are stupid enough to attack Israel, they will get a real bloody nose!!
Jordan is pretty stable and is well armed and trained.

The IDF would eat ISIS for breakfast. It would be a grave mistake to take on Israel, ISIS would be annilated.

Ladybirder, It wouldn’t surprise me. It has been said that it is a small organisation – but it is affiliated to other radical organisations and there’s no doubt that it is walking through Iraq with little opposition – with its sights set on North Africa, amongst other places. I really think ISIS is presenting the world with a very major problem – which it ignores at its peril.

Gromit, //It would be a grave mistake to take on Israel, ISIS would be annilated.//

…along with ‘God’ knows who else.

America would defend Jerusalem as they would Washington.
Never underestimate Mossad. They almost certainly already have spies in the ranks of all terrorist organisations. After all, they once had a spy in the Egyptian cabinet. Israel knows they can only lose once. And they are determined that will never happen. Do you imagine they don't have nuclear weapons ? Do you imagine they wouldn't use them ? I know, I lived there once.

If it comes to it I hope they do - but scary, isn't it? The injustices surrounding the Palestinian homeland is one thing - but this is something entirely different.
Question Author
^That was to sandyRoe, but no, Atalanta, I don't imagine that Israel doesn't have nuclear weapons and I don't imagine they wouldn't use them. I know they do - and I know they would.
^
That is why I said it would be a grave mistake to attack Israel.
Question Author
I know.
