It is noticed in conversations today that many people are not good listeners, they want to do most of the talking.

When it is time for listening and they persist in talking, they deprive themselves of what may be important instruction.

Yes since the Bible rule is: Have you beheld a man hasty with his words? There is more hope for someone stupid than for him —Prov. 29:20.

How does God provide understanding of his prophecies? By means of his Word, his holy spirit and his earthly instrument or channel. Other vital factors in understanding Bible prophecy are the time element and the mental attitude of the ones desiring to understand.

Baldric No, people were born to think about God. They you created to worship and serve the Creator.

This fact the Bible makes clear. (Isa. 42:5, 8)

So therefore, no matter how hard you try to dismiss God from your minds, God has a way of coming to the fore in their thoughts.

That why you have a conscience,Simple.
goodlife, if the bible was factual it wouldn't require faith to believe it.

Let me help you this way. The sun appears to revolve around the earth—rising in the east, moving through the sky, and setting in the west.

However, evidence now from astronomy and mathematics reveals that the earth is not the center of the solar system. Once you become familiar with that evidence and accept it as true, you have “faith” that the earth revolves around the sun—despite what your eyes tell you.

If your faith is not blind.

So it gives you the ability to see things as they really are, not merely as they seem to be.

This is the type of faith that the Bible encourages—strong faith built on solid evidence, even if it requires that we adjust our beliefs.

The apostle Paul says: “Without faith no one can please God. Anyone who comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who truly want to find him.”—Hebrews 11:6.
So keep learning.

No insults please. Civility is required.
\\Once you become familiar with that evidence and accept it as true, you have “faith”//. No you don't, if you have a fact you don't need faith.
Goodlife, //No, naomi are you listening.//

I always listen - which is why I am able to make a truly informed choice. Can you say the same? I doubt it very much.

// people were born to think about God. . . "They you" . . . created to worship and serve the Creator//

Could you just clear up what that means please, 'cause it makes no sense whatsoever to me?
